| 1993年毕业于江苏教育学院艺术专业，近十多年来，从人文的视角关注中国乡村在中国经济发展浪潮中的深刻变化，创作了《种子系列》、《稻草人》、《布人》等代表作品，表达了艺术家对逐渐消逝的中国乡村文化的深刻关怀和忧虑。
2002年开始拍摄《荒原中的小屋》、《100个见证》等记录片。2007年和当地基督徒交换100本《圣经》。
